Don't baby you

The professors here really don't baby you around. It's pretty much sink or swim, because CAL is a huge public school. However, if you go to office hours and take the time to build a relationship with your professor, you can get by. The professors here are pretty remarkable, so this you can't go wrong in that department. Some classes are taught by noble laureates!
